Montgomery, Texas, USA | | Shawn and family, we are so sorry for your loss. The death of a parent is huge, the death of a last surviving parent is the passing of the torch to the next generation. I hope your family holds each other close, holds gatherings as times to share memories, and live the lives full of love and happiness your parents so hoped for. Shawn, I followed you on your ‘hike’ and just knew something sadly detoured you. You did not fail. You did more in 90 days than most, and it’s pure love to leave your goals behind to be with those you love. I truly hope you and your family heal with hugs, laughter from memories and with plans for the future. You Shawn exhibited the most humble approach to life, most determination to reach your goal, and the strength of a true warrior. You will never hike alone, Mom and Dad will spiritually accompany you. Same for your siblings. God bless you all, you’re in my payers. #PCT2025 |
