Dallas, Pa, USA | | I will forever remember sister Robey's kindness. In 1972, during the height of the Agnes flood disaster, she came to help our family. We were struggling to recover our damaged home in Swoyersville. The entire Wyoming Valley was in ruins. Mrs Robey was helping my parents clean flood mud out of our home when I was injured in an accident just up the street. Her kindness and skills as a nurse were so very much appreciated by myself, and my entire family. Her kindness was beyond measure. Our home was damaged and not able to be lived in. She invited all of us up to her home to sleep at nights while we struggled to get our home repaired during the day. The true mark of a Christian is love. Dorothy Robey displayed love and kindness and a helping hand beyond measure. I will not ever forget her kindness. She may be sleeping now, but I know her eternal reward is guaranteed. |
