Dawn C. Halversen, age 73, of Plymouth, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Geisinger South Wilkes Barre.

Born September 13, 1952 in Wilkes Barre, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Leiby and June Keefe Suda and Joe and Minnie Weaver.

She had been employed by National Bond and Collections Company for over 30 years. She had been a volunteer at her son’s elementary school library for six years.

Dawn spent much time shopping which she loved to do. She adored her beloved cats, Bella and Candy, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Celinda Jennings and brother, Delbert Weaver.

Surviving are her loving husband, Joel Halversen, loving children, Dwayne Dotter (Amy), Edwardsville, Pamela Dunbar, Dallas, Donna Dotter, Edwardsville, Kimberly Werkheiser (David), Plymouth, Quentin Dotter, Wilkes Barre, stepdaughter, Toni Halversen (Dave), Myrtle Beach, S. C., numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters, Bonnie Melton (James), June Hartman (Larry), Brenda German and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
