Mary Lischentski, 3 months shy of 103 years old, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Third Avenue Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Kingston.

Born January 7, 1923 in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late, Stanley and Rose Kubbishon. Mary was a member of Good Shepherd Polish National Catholic Church, Plymouth.

She was a devoted member of the Polish National Church in Plymouth. For many years she and fellow parishioners would spend the day making perogies, a tradition her daughter Patricia continued.

Mary had a love for polka music. She attended many polka events with her friend Mary and polka music filled the house every Saturday morning.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Lischentski, who passed away in 1993; sons, Freddy and John; daughter, Patricia Soltis, who cared for mom for many years; brothers, Stanley and John Kubbishon; and sister, Ann Borszem.

Surviving are her daughters, Rose Mazur (Joseph), of Plymouth, Gail Lischentski, of Wilkes Barre, and Maryann Kane (Bobby), of Mountaintop; and numerous grandchildren, Mark (Kristen) and Jeffrey (Jhenya) Soltis, Carolyn (Steve) Metts, Fred (Kim) Mazur, Holly Kelleher, Matthew (Holly) Kubicki, Jennifer, Jason and Jonathan (Joanne) Kane; great grandchildren, Elysa, Jarad and Christina Soltis, Cara Rose and Chris Metts, Alison and Marley Mazur and Ryleigh McDonell, Emma, Jake, Lily and Anna Kelleher, Samantha, Elizabeth and James Kubicki, Aiden, Mia, Robbie, Liam, Emmalyn, Kailyn Kane; great great grandchildren, Markalla, Wyatt, Abigail and Isabella Soltis; and great great great grandchild, Arlo.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Polish National Catholic Church, Plymouth. Interment will be in Good Shepherd PNC Cemetery, West Nanticoke.
