Eleanor Kosloski, of Plymouth, at the age of 94 passed away peacefully at home on September 5, 2025. Born on February 23, 1931, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late William and Nellie Zubris Kazlauskas.

A proud graduate of Plymouth High School, Eleanor was a devoted lifelong member of Saint Casimir's Church, now part of Saint Robert Bellarmine Parish. She worked for many years at ACME grocery stores, where she was known for her dedication and warm spirit.

Eleanor had a deep love for her family and cherished time spent with them, especially during the holidays when she enjoyed cooking and entertaining. Her faith was central to her life; she was an active member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality and participated in many church events, including the beloved St. Casimir’s Parish Bazaar.

She was preceded in death by her brothers: Vincent Kazlauskas, Theodore Kazlauskas, Rev. Clement Kazlauskas, C.S.C., Rev. Bernard Kazlauskas, Jerome Kazlauskas, and Daniel “Gabe” Kosloski; and her sisters: Irene Kosloski, Leona Krefski, Nellie Krystofolsky, and Mary Nowalis.

Eleanor is survived by her godchildren, Mary Ann Ondish and Johnny Warakomski, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Robert Bellarmine Parish, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will follow in Saint Casimir's Cemetery, Muhlenberg. A brief visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the Mass.

Arrangements are entrusted to the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Madonna Berlot, the dedicated nurse who cared for Eleanor daily. We would also like to thank Jeffrey & Denise Klus for his years of kindness and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the King’s College Chemistry Department, a cause close to Eleanor’s heart.
