Born January 23, 1955 in Lynn, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Charles Rigol and Barbara Merton Rigol.

He was a graduate of Hamilton High School Class of '74, Massachusetts; of Norwich University, Vermont, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree; and of Marywood University, where he received his Masters Degree.

David was a member of St. Nicholas Church, Wilkes Barre, and had been an active volunteer of the parish.

David generously gave his time as a volunteer with the organization PVS (Prison Visition and Support), offering companionship.

David enjoyed peaceful walks along the trails of Pennsylvania, where he found comfort in nature. His greatest joy came from spending time with his children and grandchildren, proudly attending their sporting events and other activities. He loved working in his yard and cherished every moment outdoors, where he was a friendly neighbor and a friend to many he met along the way.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Rigol.

Surviving are his loving wife Donna (Bednarski) Rigol; loving children, Frank Rigol (Ericka), of Dallas, Katie Crawford (Cornel Jr.), of Hanover Twp., Sarah Rigol, of Dallas, and Emily Illiano (Raimondo), of Hanover Twp.; grandchildren, Abrielle, Kaleb, Elliot, Gianna, Brayden, McKenna, Cole, Gabriella and Aniello; sister-in-law, Susan Rigol, of MA; and many nieces and nephews.
