Veronica R. Thiemann Slabinski, age 72, of Hanover Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

Born June 21, 1953 in Wilkes Barre, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Thiemann and Veronica Sheridan Thiemann Berger. She attended Meyer’s High School.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Little Flower Manor, Wilkes Barre, for many years.

In her free time, Veronica found joy in visiting the casino and giving back through community volunteering. Above all, she cherished moments spent with her friends and family, particularly during the holiday season.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leonard Thiemann and Frank Thiemann.

Surviving are her loving sons, Joseph Slabinski, of Virginia, and William Slabinski and his wife, Melissa, of Hanover Twp.; loving daughter, Caroline Slabinski, of Nanticoke; adopted daughter, Kristy Frank; grandchildren, Dakota Slabinski, Courtney Slabinski, Julia Graziano, Jessica Graziano and Christopher Graziano Jr.; beloved grand furbaby, Zena; brothers, Robert, James, Edward and Glen Thiemann; companion, Lewis Price; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Veronica will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and generosity will live on through her selfless decision to be an organ donor.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 6 p.m. at the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main Street, Plymouth.

Family and friends may call on Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.at the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home.
