Irvin Lewis, age 77, of Nanticoke, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at the Birchwood Nursing Center, Nanticoke.

Born August 14, 1947 in West Nanticoke, Irvin was the son of the late Walter Lewis Sr. and Elizabeth Woodeshick Lewis. He attended Harter High School, West Nanticoke.

Irvin enjoyed family gatherings especially on the holidays. One of his favorites pastimes was watching the toy trains.

In addition to his parents, Irvin is preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Lewis, Janet Lewis, Walter Lewis Jr., Shirley Dzoch, Clifford Lewis, and William Lewis.

Surviving are his nieces and nephews, Walter Lewis III (Karen), Allentown, Michael Lewis, Allentown, Edward Lewis (Lori), Sugar Notch, Terri Lewis, Edwardsville, Bill Lewis (Jennifer), Dallas, Robert Lewis, Wilkes Barre, Kevin Lewis, Wilkes Barre Twp., Stephen Dzoch, Shickshinny,
David Dzoch, Shickshinny, Walter Dzoch, Shickshinny, sister in law, Jeanie Lewis, Wilkes Barre and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend graveside service on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Hanover Green Cemetery, Hanover Twp.

Arrangements are entrusted to the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
