Maria D. Donahue, age 72, of Tunkhannock, passed away with her husband by her side on Sunday, June 22, 2025 after a lengthy illness.

Born July 28, 1952 in Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of the late Juan Millan and Alice Algarin Millan. Maria was a high school graduate.

In past years, she had been employed by Jewelcor Corporation, at Leslie Fay Garment Company and at the Connecticut National Bank in Stamford, Connecticut.

Maria was an avid reader and she was very interested in travel information. She loved the holidays having many large family gatherings.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Violeta Donahue.

Surviving are her loving husband, John F. Donahue Sr.; children, Marjory Edwards, Plymouth, John F. Donahue Jr., South Carolina, William J. Donahue (Kimberly), Burleson, Texas and Carin Borland (William Borland II), Plymouth; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Alice Millan, Massachusetts, Victoria Millan, Gloversville, New York, Johnny Millan (Angie), Florida, Rosalinda Arroyo (Jose), Texas and Migdalia Finelli, Forkston, Pa; and many nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
