Kimberly Lynn Kimball, age 51, of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
Born April 30, 1974 in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of Gladys Latricia Youells.
Kim deeply cherished her children and family. One way she showed her love was through the many heartfelt creations she crocheted over the years—everything from cozy blankets to thoughtful keepsakes for those she held dear.
A proud Eagles fan, she always cheered on her favorite team. She was an avid reader who found joy and comfort in the pages of a good book.
One of her greatest joys was her daily video calls with her cherished grandson, Elliot, whose laughter and stories brought light and happiness to her days. Kim was eagerly looking forward to the arrival of and meeting her soon-to-arrive granddaughter, Freya.
She was preceded in death by Loren Shotwell, her fiancé and true love who passed in September 2011, and Patrick Hartman Sr., a beloved father-figure to Kim, who passed away in November 2024.
Kim is survived by her loving children, Jeffrey Kimball and his partner, Hope Willis, Matthew Kimball and his partner, Sabrina Hazeltine, Dale Shotwell, LeeAnna Kimball and her partner, Jared LeVance, and Gary Woodring; cherished grandchildren, Elliot Loren LeVance, and soon-to-arrive granddaughter, Freya; sister, Patricia Kimball; brothers, Larry Kimball Jr. and David Kimball and his partner, Danielle Zim; and nieces and nephew, Aeryona, Alexa and Ethan Zim.
A private Celebration of life will be held at a later date by the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth. To submit online condolences and share memories with Kim’s family, please visit www.sjgrontkowskifuneralhome.com. |
