Shirley M. Barcheski, age 85, of Mountain Top, passed into the Hands of the Lord, on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at her home.

Born June 8, 1939 in Wilkes Barre, she was the daughter of the late William Whyte and Margaret Evans Whyte. She was a graduate of St. Nicholas High School Wilkes-Barre and a member of St. Jude’s Church, Mountain Top. Prior to her retirement, Shirley had been employed by Techniglass Corp.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William F. Whyte.

Surviving are her loving children, William (Bo) Barcheski (Janice), of Mountain Top, Deborah Schrama (Fred), of Forty Fort and David Barcheski, of Mountain Top, grandchildren, Heather Winters (Justin), of Downingtown, Shawna Daniels (James), of Wilmington, N.C., great grandchildren, Bailen Winters, and Adeline and Harrison Daniels, step grandchildren, Laura Romito (John), of Blakeslee, Stephanie Rother (Mike), of West Wyoming, Megan Harcarik (Kevin), of Drums and Danny Blessing (Alyssa), of White Haven, step great grandchildren, Dean, Presley and Milania Romito, Michael and Ben Rother and Maci and Carli Harcarik .

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family from the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Shavertown.
