Marybeth Demko, 60, of Dallas, formerly of Kingston, passed into the Hands of the Lord on Thursday, March 6, 2025.

Born November 5, 1964 in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Raymond S. Garbor and Elizabeth (Betty) Prokop Garbor. Marybeth was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1982, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and received her associate’s degree from Luzerne County Community College.

Marybeth had been employed as an assistant to the commercial loan department at Countrywide Financial, Guaranteed Bank and finally retiring from First National Community Bank.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Charlotte Demko.

Surviving are her loving husband, John Demko; brother, Jeffrey R. Garbor, of Upper Darby; aunt, Norberta Garbor, of Plymouth; sisters-in-law, Lisa Demko, Renee Rosentel and Nicole Matysick; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main Street, Plymouth. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Twp.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
