Paul Joseph Morganti, age 87, of West Nanticoke, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at his home.

Born August 4, 1937 in Pittston, he was the son of the late Peter Morganti and Laura Dominick Morganti. Paul was a graduate of Pittston Twp. High School and was a veteran serving with the U.S. Army stationed in Germany.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy J. Thrash Morganti who passed away in 2007 and a son, Lewis Morganti who passed away in 2019.

Surviving are his loving children, Joseph Morganti (Liza), of Hunlock Creek, David Morganti (Julie), of Huntington Twp., Angela Hazelton (Keith), of Jenkins Twp., and Mary Gajewski (Eric), of Sinking Spring, Pa. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. at the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main St., Plymouth. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2 p.m. until service time. Private interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
