Irene Strumski, widow of Edmund Stephen Bircsak, age 84, of Cape Canaveral, Fl, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025 at her home.

Born June 9, 1940 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Dominic Strumski and Sophie Mudry Strumski. She was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School and Seton Hall University, NJ. She was a member of Church of Our Saviour, Cocoa Beach, Fl.

Irene was a member of Love Stitch Knitting Ministry, Rosary Makers and Red Hats.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Stephen Bircsak, who passed away in January of 2018.

Surviving are her loving cousins and dear friends.

Funeral will be held on Saturday, March 8, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Nativity Cemetery Chapel, 12 Prospect Street, Plymouth, Pa. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Nativity Cemetery.

A memorial mass will be held at Church of Our Saviour, Cocoa Beach, Florida, 32920 on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 1 p.m.
