Eveline “Evelyn” (Baul) Sipper, Plymouth, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Birchwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Nanticoke, PA.
She was born on December 7, 1942, grew up in Edwardsville, PA, and graduated from Edwardsville High School. After graduation, she greeted customers with her infectious smile at Bonanza Restaurant in Edwardsville for several years before marrying.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Baul, Edwardsville, PA; her father, Edwin Baul, West Pittston, PA; brother, Ed Baul; and sister-in-law, Carol Baul, Lady Lake, FL.
Her surviving family includes her loving husband of 57 years, Martin J. Sipper, Plymouth, PA, son, Martin Sipper, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Francesca (Amico) Sipper, Pittston, PA, son, Jason Sipper, Plymouth, PA, and granddaughter, Emily Sipper, Shickshinny, PA.
She was involved with several family businesses that consisted of rental properties, Krispy Kreme Donuts, and helping her husband with his Tastykake route, putting up the delicious treats at stores.
A passionate Philadelphia Phillies fan, she also enjoyed watching the local Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins hockey team play.
For 34 years, she and her husband and sons spent time in Cape May, NJ, for their summer vacations. She also enjoyed traveling on bus trips following the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to their games.
A private family gathering will be held in her memory. Arrangements are entrusted to the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth. |
