Clifford J. Pomicter, age 70, of Sugar Notch, formerly of Nanticoke, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Birchwood Nursing Center, Nanticoke.

Born January 20, 1955 in Hanover Twp., he was the son of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (Betty) Pomicter. Clifford was a graduate of Hanover Area High School.

Over the years, he had been a manager for Meldisco Corporation in Kmart Stores Shoe Dept. and he was awarded manager of the year. He managed many Unimart Stores throughout the state of Pennsylvania and together with his wife, MaryLou, he was the owner and operator of MaryLou’s Deli on Main Street in Nanticoke for many years.

Cliff loved traveling and his adventures through many states with his wife. He enjoyed gambling and trips to the casino.

In addition to his parents, Cliff was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Pomicter.

Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years, the former MaryLou Wisniewski; brothers, David Pomicter and his wife, Barbara, of Tunkhannock and Richard Pomicter, of Tunkhannock; nephew, Anthony D. Pomicter (Edita), of Salt Lake City, Utah; and niece, Carla Pomicter, of Austin, Texas.

Interment will be in St. Casimir’s Cemetery, Muhlenburg.
