Anne E. Romanick, 68, of Plymouth, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at her family residence, with her sister Mary at her side.

A dedicated healthcare professional, Anne devoted her career to serving others through nursing. After graduating from Wyoming Valley West High School in 1974, she earned her BA in Psychology from Wilkes College in 1978. She completed her nursing degree at Geisinger Medical Center School of Nursing in 1980 and furthered her training at Wilkes Barre General Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesia in 1984.

Her professional journey included serving as a critical care nurse at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes Barre (1980-1982), before joining the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes Barre, as a certified registered nurse anesthetist. Beyond her medical career, Anne was an accomplished concert pianist and avid reader.

Anne was a woman of deep faith and a lifelong member of All Saints Parish, Plymouth, where she served as a lector, eucharistic minister, and Adorer of the Blessed Sacrament. She previously belonged to St. Mary's Nativity Church.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Lt. Col. Ret. Albert M. Romanick and Helen L. Shevock Romanick. She is survived by her sister, Dr. Mary Romanick Lanza of Anchorage, Alaska, as well as numerous cousins and friends.

Services

Mass of Christian Burial: Monday at 11 a.m., All Saints Parish, Plymouth.
Visitation: Monday, 10 a.m. until Mass time at All Saints Parish.
Interment: St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery, Plymouth.
Arrangements: S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
