James F. Mundy, age 71, of Plymouth, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Kingston Healthcare.

Born December 28, 1953 in Plymouth, he was the son of the late Mark Mundy and Stella Krystolfolsky Mundy. Jim was a graduate Wyoming Valley West High School and received his college degree in accounting. He had been a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church, Plymouth, and Dallas Baptist Church, Dallas.

Jim loved listening to all kinds of music and enjoyed music immensely, and he had belonged to various choirs over the years as a soloist.

He had been employed by Bank of America, Wilkes Barre Twp., as a manager for 25 years. He retired from First Fidelity Bank, Scranton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Mundy and William Mundy; and sisters, Ellen Mary Miller and Karen Ann Grady.

Surviving are his loving sister, Valeria Mundy Jenkins, of Lancaster; and numerous nieces and nephews.

No service are scheduled at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
