Edward S. Witko, age 68, of Plymouth, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Regional Hospital in Scranton.

Born July 14, 1956 in Plymouth, he was the son of the late Andrew Witko and Celia Kuniega Witko. Ed was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School.

In past years, he was the owner and operator of Plessett’s Men Store in Pymouth. He worked for E&M Golf for 20 years. He retired from CVS Caremark Corp a few years ago.

Ed was involved with Plymouth politics and had been a Plymouth Councilman.

In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel, and a nephew, Stephen Welles.

Surviving are his sister, Pat Welles and her husband, Gary, of Plymouth Twp., brothers, Gene Witko and his wife, Sandy, of Dallas and Norman Witko and his wife, Nancy, of Kingston, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of friends made over the years.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the S. J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
