Ann K. Litz, age 78, of Dallas, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.

Born March 24, 1946 in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Frank Kucek and Veronica Buda Kucek. Ann was a graduate of Plymouth High School, Class of 1964. She received her bachelor’s degree in English and her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Wilkes University. She was an active member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas, volunteering in many functions over the years.

In past years, Ann was employed as an elementary school teacher in Kingston, NY, and then in the Wyoming Valley School District, Kingston. When Ann became a mother, she dedicated her life to raising her children. She was very active in their school communities as a volunteer.

Ann was an active reader. She was an avid baseball fan, especially for the Philadelphia Phillies. As an alumnus, Ann was a dedicated supporter of Wilkes University athletics, especially women’s basketball.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her cousin, Joe Molasky.

Surviving are her loving husband, of 54 years, John P. Litz; children, Regan Janik (Gregory), of Dallas, Damian Litz (Kerri), of Annville, Pa, and Matthew Litz; grandchildren, Grant Litz and Libby Litz; and numerous friends and former coworkers. She always really enjoyed watching over her grand cats, Meeko and Nowa.

Family and friends are invited to meet for Mass of Christian Burial at Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas, on Friday, January 3, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Dallas.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the church.
