Madeline M. Shymanski, age 96, of West Wyoming passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Third Avenue Healthcare, Kingston.

Born August 28, 1928 in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Wasickanin and Frances Green Wasickanin. Madeline was a graduate of Larksville High School and attained her RN nursing degree from Wilkes-Barre General and in Morristown New Jersey.

Prior to her retirement, she was a registered nurse, working at many local hospitals and rehabilitation centers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Shymanski; brothers, Bernard, Eugene and Edward Wasickanin/Washington; and sister, Theresa Washington.

Surviving are her loving sons, Eric Shymanski and his wife, Holly, and Chris Shymanski and his wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Erin Perkins and her husband, Andrew, and Kyle H. Shymanski; and great grandchildren, Jaxon, Avery and Chloe.

Services and Celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, West Wyoming.

Arrangements were entrusted to the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
