Alfred (Al) Perlowski Jr. was a humble, loving, free-spirited man and a beloved father figure. He left this world suddenly on September 14, 2024 at age 65.
Al was born on May 7, 1959 to Florence and Alfred Perlowski, whom preceeded him in death. He is survived by his three sisters, Theresa Dennis, Barbara Dennis (Paul Noonan) and Bridget Perlowski (Paul Derovage) and a large family of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Al graduated from Hanover Area High School and Wilkes Barre VoTech where he studied Residential Construction. He worked as a master carpenter for many years.
After high school he moved to the mountains of Pennsylvania to pursue his passion for hunting, fishing, camping, and attending concerts and festivals. He loved spending time in the Adirondack Mountains any chance he could.
Al was a talented artist. He loved playing music on his drums and was an avid follower of The Grateful Dead. He was a gifted painter that frequently combined his love for nature and carpentry to create beautiful works of art.
Al's love for his family was pure. His kindness, compassion, and thoughtfulness will be sorely missed.
Family and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, September 23, 2024, 10 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Parish in Wilkes-Barre.
Arrangements are entrusted to the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
