Theodore “Teddy” Killian, age 72, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
Born on June 26, 1952 in Plymouth, he was the son of Theodore J. Killian, of Mountaintop, and the late Alberta Novick Killian, who passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Teddy was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1970, and of Luzerne County Community College. He attended Bloomsburg University.
He was the owner and operator of TF Audio where he was a sound engineer for many years. He worked with numerous local and national musical artists.
Teddy had a great passion studying Coal Mining Draglines. He enjoyed photographing, renovating and operating the dragline machines.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, the former Mary-Beth Korutz; sister, Coleen Hoffman and her husband, Charles, of Daytona Beach, Fl; brother, Rick Killian and his wife, Marie, of Lancaster; nieces and nephews, Kevin Killian and his wife, Gabriela, Eric Killian and his wife, Dominque, Laura Killian, Alex Hoffman and his wife, Taylor and Karine Hoffman-Reynolds and her husband, Benton; and his beloved pet dog, Pumpkin Pie.
Funeral receiving line will take place from 10 to 11 a.m on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at St. Jude Parish, Mountaintop. Mass of Christian Burial for Teddy’s mother, Alberta Killian, will immediately follow at 11 a.m. in the church. Interment for Teddy will take place at a later date.
