Jeanne K. Brozena, 74, of Hanover, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 8, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Plymouth Twp. June 4, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Kay Skubanich Brozena.

Jeanne graduated from Nanticoke High School, June 1968, and then accepted a position in the business office of King’s College where she had the opportunity to take a wide range of courses. She ultimately focused on receiving her BS in Medical Technology in May 1982. She accepted a position at the Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg and continued her education while working. In 1993, she was awarded a MS in Health Administration from the University of St. Francis. Jeanne concluded her Medical Technology career in 2017, retiring from the position of laboratory director at the Central PA Blood Bank, Hummelstown, PA, and returned to Plymouth to be with family.

Jeanne’s tiny stature belied a big heart that encompassed her family, friends and her own pets. To her family, Jeanne was communication central and was the source of the Brozena family.

She was an avid reader, as well as, a theatre enthusiast of local theater productions and excursions to NYC to see a broadway plays. Above all she found serenity in nature, she was always ready to go for a long walk and loved to take car rides.

She will be forever missed by her sister, Nancy Walker, Plains Twp., brother, Edward Brozena and his partner, Ida Hudak, Plymouth, nephews, Michael Walker (Holly) and Erik Walker, nieces, Tiffany Williams (Ryan) and Robyn Brozena, and many great nephews, nieces and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 11 a.m. at All Saints Parish, Plymouth. Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Nativity Cemetery, Plymouth Twp.
