Dorothy Paulauskas, age 86, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 13, 2023 at the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallas.

Born April 9, 1937, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Krasnavage and Anna Gronkowski Krasnavage. Dorothy was a graduate of Plymouth High School and had attended Luzerne County Community College. She was a member of All Saints Parish, Plymouth, and in past years, she had been a member of the St. Mary's Nativity Church Sodality.

She was a member of the Vine Street Elementary School PTO, Plymouth, the Goodwill Hose Co. #2 Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed attending class with her “lady friends” at Star Fitness. Dorothy was previously employed by American Cigar, Golden Quality and CVS.

Dorothy was an expert seamstress and enjoyed sewing for her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, and she especially loved her flowers. She loved sitting on the swing in her backyard with her mom, Anna. Dorothy and her late husband, Vito, enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren, especially attending their sporting events, dance programs, and other activities.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Vito M. Paulauskas; granddaughter, Amanda Paulauskas; and brother, Andrew Krasnavage, Jr.

Surviving are her loving children, David Paulauskas and his wife, Barbara, of Shavertown, their two children Alyson and Adam Paulauskas; Jane Ann Ritsick and her husband, Ted, of Forty Fort, their two children Ted and Rebecca Ritsick and daughter-in-law, Kelly; Stephen Paulauskas and his wife, Laura, of Halifax, PA, and their three children, Stephanie, Nicholas, and Nathan Paulauskas; and Renee Olexy and her husband, Scott, of Chesapeake, VA and their three children Logan, Jordyn and Rylee Olexy; brother, Frank Krasnavage, of Hanover Twp.; sister, Patricia Leshinski and her husband, Richard, of Plymouth; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions, if desired, may be made in Dorothy's memory to the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallas.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2023, at All Saints Parish, Plymouth. Interment will be in St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery, Plymouth Twp. Family and friends may call on Thursday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main Street, Plymouth.
